DiVINE Words ministry exists to bless, encourage and exhort others with God’s
divine words displayed in an inspired way.

"I am the VINE" acrostic

The company name, DiVINE Words, was born out of reading John 15 in the summer of 2005. Verse 5 became the final inspiration for the name.

I was overwhelmed with a fresh understanding that to have true LIFE, true POWER and true GROWTH, we need to be abiding in the VINE, JESUS! And what better way to “abide” in him than to read, memorize and meditate on his divine words found in the Bible. DiVINE Words ministry is to have scripture acrostics bring words of life, healing, and blessing to all who read them.

In the midst of creating DiVINE Words, I found myself in a challenging journey to battle breast cancer. My story started on October 30, 2003 when I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer (2.6 inches, left side). I experienced recovery from the first round of surgeries, chemo cycles, radiation visits, loss and regrowth of my hair, immense fatigue, etc. However, on March 30, 2007, I discovered a lump that wouldn’t go away. The biopsy revealed a recurrence of the cancer in my bones and soft tissue or stage 4.

I was devasted… but the Lord showed himself to me once again while reading my daily bread devotional for the day. The Bible reading for the day was Lamentations 3:22-24, which says,

“Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed,
       for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
       great is your faithfulness.
I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion;
       therefore I will wait for him”.

Wow! I was immediately reminded of His faithfulness in my life. It encouraged me to know that His compassions are new every morning and that He alone is my hope!! (If interested, I’ve made an acrostic for COMPASSION as well.)

I Promised Her

Bobbi died on June 6, 2010 at 42 years old.

I promised Bobbi that the vision she had, the passion she showed, and the study and work that went into these acrostics would continue. I promised that I would commit my energies to her dream and make sure her desire to “spread God’s Word in an inspired way” would continue. These acrostics are Bobbi’s heart, her passion, and her testimony about a loving God, who cared for her, loved her, and ministered to her every day through His Word. Some said she lost her battle with Cancer. We said she won the victory and now dances and celebrates with her Savior.

Every day was a gift in her eyes and she never complained about her circumstances. She continued to praise Him during the storm and to her last breath. A seven year battle with breast cancer failed to steal her love for God and His Word.
